It's been a while since I've grabbed much in the way of yellow sticker bargains. I've been pretty short on space to store the goodies, and to be honest there hasn't really been a massive amount of deals around, I think mainly due to the increase of sales in the last few weeks in supermarkets, mainly due to people stocking up due to the lockdown.
I did manage to grab a few bits and bobs from Morrisons last night, even though the shelves were pretty empty!
I managed to get:
2x Sirloin steaks - Normal price £14.12 - I paid £0.71 - Saving £13.41
2x Cod fillets - Normal price £10.72 - I paid £0.64 - Saving £10.08
3x Croissant 4 packs - Normal price £6.00 - I paid £0.30 - Saving £5.70
2x Chipolata sausages - Normal price £7.00 - I paid £0.36 - Saving £6.64
2x Sirloin steaks - Normal price £14.12 - I paid £0.71 - Saving £13.41
2x Raspberry plants - Normal price £7.00 - I paid £0.36 - Saving £6.64
1x Coleslaw - Normal price £1.00 - I paid £0.30 - Saving £0.70
Total normal price £59.96 - I paid £3.38 - Total saving £56.58
The plants will hopefully bare fruit next Summer, so is a purchase I hope will continue to keep us topped up with yummy fruit on going. All the meat and croissants are in the freezer for another day, the fish did throw me a curve ball, as I realised it was previously frozen, and so shouldn't be re-frozen, and so I popped it in the oven, and will use it for dinner this evening, as part of a fish pie.
All in all, this was a pretty decent haul of goodies!
