Tuesday can be a great day to save some of your hard-earned cash!
Every Tuesday, there are two popular offers that are available to save savvy shoppers some money!
Deal One - Boots £10 Tuesday Price Drop Deal
Boots offers a selection of its products for £10 every Tuesday. The deals change every week, and up to 100 products are normally discounted for just one day to £10.
Savings vary from product to product, but it is far from rare to see deals for half price or more. One product I've seen recently was reduced from £38 to £10, and there were many other offers offering well over £10 in savings!
A deal is only a deal if you actually need the product; buying just because it's cheap is actually an expense, not a saving, but the Boots £10 offers are usually a good mix of products that may well fall into an everyday purchase, with examples being nappies, makeup, sun tan lotion, vitamins, hair care, sanitary ware and even 'adult' products, so often something for everyone.
You can add to the discount by stacking a gift card purchased through a gift card cashback app to make the deal even sweeter. For example, the gift card cashback app JamDoughnut offered 3.1% cashback on a Boots gift card when this post was written, so even if you bought just one £10 item, that's another 31p saved!
Deal Two - Deliveroo - Upto 50% Off Groceries
The food delivery app Deliveroo offers up to 50% off groceries from participating retailers every Tuesday.
Retailers will vary depending on where you live, but if you select a retailer that offers in-store prices on the app, (prices can be more expensive buying via Deliveroo than it would be buying directly from the retailer, as Deliveroo charge the retailers a fee for each item sold, which the retailers will often pass back to the customer via more expensive pricing on the Deliveroo app, over its own delivery service or its instore prices), then you may well find that its cheaper to buy via Deliveroo than if you went to the store yourself, even after any Deliveroo delivery charge or fees.
You need to click on the banner (as per the picture, but the banner design may change slightly every week) on the Deliveroo app or website, which will take you to the page that shows the participating retailers for the offer. Participating retailers include Coop, One Stop, Waitrose, and Sainsbury's, but the list may vary depending on where you are located.
The discounted products are displayed on the retailer's app page on the main Deliveroo app and have already been reduced by up to 50%, so you don't need to enter any promotion codes or coupon codes.
Delivery charges and service fees apply, but free delivery will apply. The amount you need to spend to get free delivery will vary depending on whether you have Deliveroo Plus or not. It's £25 for free delivery with Deliveroo Plus, £40 if you don't.
TOP TIP: If you have an Amazon Prime account, you can get a free upgrade to Deliveroo Plus, which then gets you all the Deliveroo Plus benefits for free!
My daughter recently used the Tuesday Deliveroo deal for the first time and was very excited to tell me that she saved £14.15 on her order. The savings show up on the receipt as a voucher, as you can see from my daughter's receipt.
My daughter paid a £2.99 service charge for her order but received free delivery. The prices she paid for the products were on par with, in some cases, cheaper than she would have paid to go to the supermarket, but with the convenience of receiving the products quickly to her home.
Just like the Boots deal, you can add to the discount by stacking a gift card purchased through a gift card cashback app to make the deal even sweeter. For example, the gift card cashback app JamDoughnut offered 4.6% cashback on a Boots gift card when this post was written. My daughter forgot to do this on her order, but she did have COVID at the time, so I'll let her off; she's normally on the ball when it comes to taking advantage of gift card cashback!
All deals and cashback rates were correct as of 89th October 2024 but are subject to change.
