NHS Staff Can Grab A Free Starbucks On December 5th

Starbucks invites NHS staff to pick up a free Tall beverage in store upon presentation of a valid NHS ID, for one day only


NHS workers can claim any Starbucks tall drink on Thursday, December 5th, including festive drinks such as the Toffee Nut Latte, the brand-new Gingerbread Cream Iced Chai Tea Latte, and the Caramel Waffle Cream Iced Latte.


NHS staff are eligible for a free Tall Starbucks beverage upon presentation of an official valid NHS ID, a Blue Light card won’t be accepted.


Starbucks will also donate 25,000 Starbucks Doubleshot Espresso™ cans and 42,000 Starbucks Premium Instant sachets, and snacks, which they’ll deliver directly to participating hospitals, as well as selected ambulance stations.


Hospitals receiving the free drinks and food are:

  • Cumbria, Northumberland Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust

  • Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust Charity (Bright Charity)

  • Our Hospitals Charity – South Tees Hospitals

  • Chesterfield Royal Hospital Charity

  • Awyr Las Gogledd Cymru

  • Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Charity

  • Wye Valley NHS Trust Umbrella Charity

  • Powys Teaching Local Health Board Charitable Fund

  • Cwm Taf NHS General Charitable Fund

  • Mid and South Essex Hospitals Charity

  • Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Charitable Fund

  • Highland Health Board Endowment Fund

The ambulance services receiving Starbucks goodies are:

  • East of England Ambulance Service

  • London Ambulance Service

  • North East Ambulance Service

  • North West Ambulance Service

  • Scottish Ambulance Service 

  • South Central Ambulance Service

  • South East Coast Ambulance Service

  • South Western Ambulance Service

  • Welsh Ambulance Service

  • West Midlands Ambulance Service


Not all Starbucks coffee shops across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are running the offer either, so it's worth calling ahead to avoid disappointment! The offer isn't available for delivery.
