The Latest Co-op Freezer Favourites Deal That Could Save You Upto £8.65

This Co-op freezer deal offers customers 5 frozen food items for £6 and is available in a large number of Co-op stores, nationwide.

This latest Co-op From £5 Co-op freezer favourites meal deal is a great way to feed the family for less.

As part of the latest member-exclusive deals from Co-op, the very popular freezer meal deal offer, which gives customers five popular grocery frozen food items for £6, (or if you are a Co-op member, you could get this for £5) , which is available in a large number of Co-op stores, nationwide.

The current offer is valid until November 19th, 2024 , when purchasing the following five products in one transaction.

The Current Deal

Birds Eye Garden Peas: 375g

McCain Oven Chips: 750g Youngs Chip Shop 2 Fish Steaks: 200g Whitby Seafoods Scampi Bites: 190g

Carte D'or Ice Madagascan Vanilla Ice Cream: 900ml

Normally, buying all these freezer favourites separately would set you back £13.65, so buying them in this co-op food deal saves bargain hunters up to £8.65 off the normal RRP ( if you are a Co-op member), and works out, on average, to be about half the price of buying all the products separately. This makes this a fantastic offer for families trying to balance their food budget. The dessert element of the deals is always popular in our house for our movie night!

You Might Get The Deal For £5

You may find that the deal is available for £5 in some Co-op stores as part of their 'Member Prices' so you could save even more, but if I'm honest, I struggle to figure out which stores offer which deals as they have different deals in the South of the UK than in other parts, yet in my town I have to Co-op stores and one is classified as Southern store, and the other is classified as a different region, even though they are 2 miles apart, and have different deals and price points, but if you use the 'find your nearest store' button on the Co-op website or app, it will tell you which store locally is participating in the offer, and I have joined the Co-op membership for both stores, so I can be sure I'll be able to get the extra £1 off, no matter which store I'm in!

You Might Get A Deal Stack!

If you have a Co-op membership card and get to choose which extra weekly rewards/member discounts you'd like to add to your card, check to see if any of the latest deals offer choices from the same manufacturer as the freezer deal, as sometimes there may be an offer for say 50p off any McCain's product and you find the freezer offer has a McCain's product within the offer, you can then deal stack the freezer deal and your 50p off offer for an even better great deal, plus if you are a student you can grab 10% off the offer using your student discount card!

Can You Get Cashback On The Deal?

One of my top tips for getting an even better deal is that Cheddar cashback users can automatically earn 1% cash back on Co-op purchases, which adds to the money-saving discount on the cost of an already cheap dinner! If you have a Chase banking card, you may also get 1% cashback on your purchase if you are eligible for Chase cashback.

Sadly, Co-op doesn't offer gift card options, so you can't take advantage of the gift card cashback services, but if that changes, I'll let you know! If you use the cashback service Complete Savings, you can earn 10% back on your shop and if you get cashback as part of your Chase bank account, you could earn 1% cashback on this deal.

Is It Available In All Co-op Stores?

Be aware that Co-op stores aren't all the same! The Co-op is split into different regions, and different stores and the co-op app have different offers and member-price offers, even though they may be in the same town. As I've learned from experience, some stores may offer the freezer deal; others may not, and it can be a bit of hit-and-miss, so always check which of the Co-op deals the store you are in is offering before you go to the till; the Co-op website usually gives all the details of the offer and which stores locally stock it.

Is It A Good Deal?

Obviously, a deal is only a good deal if you're actually going to use everything that comes with it, and these types of deals won't always suit everyone, still, for my family, which includes a picky 7-year-old boy, having these types of products in the freezer can really help on those days when we need to eat fast, and when meals work out at just over £1 each, on average, it's an excellent value way to feed the family on a budget, as well.

However, there will always be healthier choices as, more often than not, these deals don't offer the most healthy foods you could feed your family, but there is a place for cheap, filling food with big discounts to help with the family food budget.

There is a great need for cheap food in my local community, as money is scarce and local food banks are sadly always in demand. So although I always get comments about promoting unhealthier meal choices, often aimed towards young people, which I do understand, I have to say that this type of Co-op freezer filler deal with their competitive prices, is a great way to make sure that children are getting better access to a hot meal at the end of the day.

Local schools do their due diligence and ensure that those children who qualify for school dinners get a wholesome and balanced meal at school. So, if the family budget can only cope with a good price offer such as these freezer deals to feed the whole family, it's better than potentially even worse and less nutritional meal options, or in the worst case scenario, no meal option at all.

The frozen foods offer is subject to availability and isn't an online exclusive deal; it can be obtained either online, via the retailer's own website, via food delivery apps, such as Deliveroo, Uber Eats or Just Eat, or of course in-store while stocks last.
