If it's your child's birthday and they want a new Build-A-Bear teddy, did you know that you can save a fair few quid via the store's 'Count Your Candles' scheme? The teddy bear retailer offers the 'Count Your Candles, Pay Your Age' promotion, and this promotion means that you will be able to buy one of their £14 bears and pay the same in pounds for it, as your child is in years old!
So if your child is two years old, you will pay £2; if they are 5, you will pay £5, and so on! You can go into the store at any point in your child's birthday month and tell the staff member it's your child's birthday, and they will offer you the deal!
The offer is only valid in the company's physical stores and isn't available online, and the offer is only available to Build-A-Bear Bonus Club members, which is free to join.
You don't get any outfits with the discounted bears, and needless to say, they will suggest you purchase an outfit at the same time as grabbing your bear, and obviously, that's where they make their money, but you aren't obliged to buy anything else, so if you just want a cheap teddy, this is an excellent way to do it!
