Savvy Shoppers Can Save Big On One Of The UK's Best-loved Christmas Tipples!

The 1-litre price of seasonal favourite, Baileys, has dropped to less than £10, but there is a catch!

The 1-litre price of seasonal favourite, Baileys, has dropped to less than £10, but there is a catch!

Morrisons has slashed the price of 1-litre bottles of popular festive treat Baileys for just one week (the offer ends on 14th November) to just £8.50 (£11.05 in Scotland), down from the usual retail price of £22!

The supermarket giant does have conditions for shoppers wanting to stock up on Baileys original Irish cream liqueur, and that is that they need to have spent £45 in-store for the offer to be applied (not including the price of the Baileys), and they need to a More Card member, (the Morrisons loyalty scheme), plus you are only allowed one bottle.

This offer makes it the cheapest price for this ideal perfect Christmas gift or Christmas party favourite, and If you are a Morrisons shopper anyway, then the requirement to spend £45 on other products is probably not an issue, but for shoppers who tend to shop elsewhere and just want a cheap Christmas treat, then this probably isn't going to be the best deal, but all is not lost as there are other Baileys deals on the go, as the price of this seasonal favourite is subject to a festive tipple price war!

A 1-litre bottle of Baileys in Sainsbury's is £10, so long as you have a Nectar card, the Sainsbury's deal is pretty decent, as there isn't any need to buy anything else, so Sainsbury's Nectar card customers can buy just that one item if they want to, so fans of the Irish cream liqueur can easily stock up for the big day. The offer is available in-store or for delivery or collection until November 17th.

Amazon customers can save too, as Amazon has dropped the price of Bailey's 1-litre bottles to £13.00, down from £22, and a standard 70cl bottle is £10.00, with free next-day delivery for Amazon Prime users.

Asda and Ocado are offering a 1-litre bottle for £13 as is Tesco, although you'll need a Clubcard to get it at that price.

If you are a Costco member, Baileys fans can grab a 1-litre bottle of Bailey's for £8.29 excluding VAT, or £9.95 including VAT in-store for a limited time, as it's currently £2.50 off a bottle.

There are ways that Baileys fans could further lower the cost of their favourite creamy delight, and that's via cashback. Buying from one of the major supermarkets offering special offers on Baileys will save you a little extra. For example, a gift card cashback service will offer you cashback for buying a gift card for your chosen supermarket. As an example, gift card cashback service JamDoughnut is offering 3.1% cashback on Morrisons gift cards, 3.25% at Asda, and 4.1% cashback at both Tesco and Sainsbury's, so if you bought a £10 gift card for Sainsbury's to buy your £10 Nectar price Baileys, you'd then get 41p cashback on the gift card, which means that in reality, that £10 bottle has actually cost you £9.59.

Cashback giant TopCashback is offering 7% cashback for new Ocado customers who place their order via the Topcashback website, and you can deal stack that with an Ocado new customer offer, where if you use promo code VOU0427760 you'll get 25% off a £60 order (up to the maximum discount of £20), meaning that if you need a grocery shop anyway, haven't shopped with Ocado before and spend £60 to qualify for the 25% discount, which could include the bottle of £13 Bailey's, then your £15 discount would cover the cost of the bottle of Baileys, and you'd even have enough left over to buy some ice to go with the drink, maybe some ice cream to add to the glass (it's lovely!), some hot chocolate to mix the Baileys into, or perhaps some little nibbles to get you in the Christmas spirit!

New Topcashback users can use a referral link to sign up for the cashback service, and they'll get a £10 bonus for signing up once they've earned £10 of payable cashback (which does take a few months to come through).

Prices are correct as of 8 November 2024 but are always subject to change, and availability may vary. I suggest using the price comparison website Trolley to check the latest prices on Baileys before you buy. This site has up-to-date prices for this product and thousands of other brands and is an invaluable tool for ensuring you get the best possible price!
