Asda
Children will get a £1 meal from noon every day in 205 Asda cafes, (Not all Asda stores have an Asda-branded cafe, so check before you go!) Kids across England and Wales can eat for just £1 at any time of day in Asda Cafés, seven days a week, with no minimum adult spend required. Baby food is also available as part of the initiative, with little ones enjoying a free pouch of Ella’s Kitchen baby food (70g pouch). You can order one £1 kids meal per child per day.
The kids menu has a variety of offers, including two new hot meals recently introduced - Penne Pasta with Meatballs and a vegan Hidden Veg pasta meal. The existing hot meals on the menu remain, such as fish fingers, but will have the option of swapping out chips with a salad or peas.

Can't afford to eat out?
Not everyone has the budget to eat out, after all, having the kids off school can be expensive, so here are some cheaper options for feeding the nippers at home.
The Co-op Freezer Favourites deal gives Co-op members 5 freezer items for £6, or £6.50 for non-members. This can be a great deal for feeding the kids on a budget.
Use apps such as Too Good To Go to rescue food from supermarkets and restaurants that would otherwise go to waste if not bought at a reduced rate by app users, or grab completely free food from the food waste reduction app Olio.
Use the current Gousto referral offer to save 70% off your first Gousto box. This means you could feed 5 people for 4 days for £18.53, which works out at 93p per portion. Use supermarket food coupon/cashback apps to grab discounts on selected supermarket products. The three main apps that offer this are Shopmium, Checkoutsmart, and GreenJinn. The apps show you products with savings of up to 100%. You buy the product, upload proof of purchase, and then you'll be refunded the discount amount to your app's wallet, which you can then withdraw once you've reached the minimum withdrawal amount.
